Yicihui Stone Pillar

        Yicihui Stone Pillar is located in Dingxing County, 80 kms northwest of Baoding.
        This pillar was built in the Dynasty of Northern Qi(562AD), over 1400 years ago. It was composed by three parts, the basement, the body and the head, 6.65 meters high from the bottom to the top. Carved on the 4.5 meter-high body were 3,400 words, telling the story of the farmer rebellions against the Northern Wei Dynasty.
        The special design of this pillar made it the only one left of its kind in China.
         In 1961, it was announced as one of the cultural relics under the state protection program.
